Studio Wildcard announced that "Ark: Survival Evolved" will arrive to PlayStation 4 on Dec. 6, 2016. "Ark: Survival Evolved" is already available in Early Access for Xbox One and PC, but will exit on all platforms in its 1.0 version in spring 2017.
"Ark: Survival Evolved" Launching with Scorched Earth DLC on PS4
VentureBeat revealed that "Ark: Survival Evolved" will arrive with the new Scorched Earth DLC for $55. The package will also include a Bionic Giganotosaurus and Manticore armor sets for both male and female characters, exclusive to the PlayStation 4.
Initially, "Ark: Survival Evolved" players were disappointed that the game developer was selling a lot of copies and DLC while still in Early Access, but there have been noticeable improvement since. "Ark: Survival Evolved" may even feature a VR version in the near future.
GameSpot reported that the Survivor's Pack includes an updated version of "Ark: Survival Evolved" that showcases all previously released content, as well as the Scorched Earth expansion. The full release of "Ark: Survival Evolved" for PS4 is set to launch in Spring 2017, although the release date for Xbox One and PC is still undetermined.
Before, Sony reportedly blocked the launch of "Ark: Survival Evolved" on PlayStation 4, since it prohibited in-development games on their platform. With the recent announcement, either Sony changed its decision, or the game is already complete, thereby allowed on the PS4.
