“Fast & Furious” cast members marked the third death anniversary of actor Paul Walker on Wednesday, Nov. 30, by posting tributes to him on social media. Their posts indicate that Paul Walker’s colleagues and friends are still coping with his untimely demise.
“Fast & Furious” actor Vin Diesel – the recent subject of co-star Dwayne Johnson’s “chicken ass” remark – used bookend images of Paul Walker and himself as his Facebook cover photo. In 2015, at the MTV Movie Awards, Vin Diesel sang Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s “See You Again” to honor Paul Walker, MTV reports.
Jordana Brewster, the wife of Paul Walker in “Fast & Furious,” tweeted, “I miss you and love you every single day.” She ended her tweet by using the hashtag #paulwalkerforever, according to Digital Spy.
Instagram Tribute
Photos of “Fast & Furious” actor Paul Walker, who was 40 when he died in a single-car collision with friend Roger Rodas, were posted on Instagram by Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Scott Eastwood. In his caption, Tyrese recalled that Paul Walker treated with utmost respect everyone and made all on the set feel they mattered.
Tyrese also asked people to pray for Meadow Walker, the daughter of “Fast & Furious” star Paul Walker, his brothers Caleb and Cody, and parents as well as best friends Brandon and Roland. After the actor’s death, “Fast & Furious 7” and his two other movies – “Hours” and “Brick Mansions” - were released posthumously in 2015 and 2014, respectively.
Bringing Back Brian O’Connor
Caleb recently talked to Vin Diesel about the possibility of bringing back in a future movie Brian O’Connor, the character of Paul Walker in “Fast & Furious.” Vin Diesel sought the brothers’ permission to bring back Brian O’Connor “to really kind of let his fans know he’s still out there.” The latest franchise of the action move, “Fast & Furious 8” would be shown on April 14, 2017.
