A new update from Netflix revealed that the series will get another actor that will help the story boost further. Neil Patrick Harris was introduced as Count Olaf. According to Broadway World "A Series of Unfortunate Events" is about the whereabouts of the three Baudelaire children, Violet, her intelligent brother Klaus, and their baby sister Sunny. They are orphans when a mysterious fire destroys their house and kills their parents. The role of Neil Patrick Harris is Count Olaf, the evil guardian of the three orphans who is after the three children's fortune.

In the meantime, Neil Patrick has changed his twitter profile picture as Count Olaf. He said in his previous interviews that his character will be darker and more sinister than the old version in the movie. After all, the role of Count Olaf should be really terrifying and not a parody.

Aside from Patrick Warburton and Neil Patrick Harris, Joan Cusack also starred in "A Series of Unfortunate Events" asJustic Strauss. Violet Baudelaire will be played by Malina Weissman and Kalus will be played by Louis Hynes. The second season of the reboot is said to be already in its pre-production phase. An exact release date has yet to be announced.
