Former "X Factor" judge Cheryl Cole debuted her pregnant belly on Tuesday, Nov. 29, confirming the news that she is expecting her first child with her new boyfriend, "One Direction" band member Liam Payne. The two stepped out on Tuesday to attend the St. James Christmas Carol Concert in London.
Cheryl Cole, who was wearing a form-fitting dress under her coat, showed off her baby bump for the first time as she and Liam Payne walked hand-in-hand to the venue. According to E! News, a source has confirmed that the television personality is expecting and that she is in her second trimester.
Yahoo says that the "Call My Name" singer and the One Direction crooner have been seeing each other since December and made their relationship public this spring. While they have mostly tried to stay out of the limelight, the two have nonetheless frequently shared snaps of each other on Instagram. Prior to dating Liam Payne, Cheryl Cole had been married twice. She and footballer Ashley Cole married in 2006 and divorced in 2010. In 2014, Cole wed French businessman Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini. Their divorce was finalized in October.
Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole's Tuesday night outing follows months of pregnancy rumors that were fueled in September, when Cole's mother was photographed buying baby and maternity products. While the "Fight For this Love" singer has mostly tried to disguise her figure during TV shows and personal appearances in the last few months, she was snapped in November with what looked to be a slight bump. According to News.com.au, Cole covered her belly with a thick jumper in promotional images for an upcoming show. During a meet-and-greet with fans last month for her latest perfume, the singer reportedly stayed behind a desk the entire time.
This will be the first child for both Cheryl Cole and Liam Payne, and the second "One Direction" baby. In January, Payne's bandmate Louis Tomlinson welcomed a son with stylist Briana Jungwirth. Neither Cole nor Payne has officially confirmed the pregnancy.
