Furthermore, Google Tango Technology is a set of software technologies and camera which will help map indoor areas for augmented reality. Lenovo's Phab2 Pro, being a smartphone to use Google's Tango technology, has been the first to be released. It can be remembered that it recently went on sale in the U.S after being delayed from its initial summer launch.
Though Lenovo's Phab 2 Pro might be the first smartphone using the Tango technology, still some other parts of the company are interested too. In fact, PC Mag confirmed in a recent report that "while addressing press at an event in Chicago, Motorola Mobility president Aymar de Lencquesaing said that the Lenovo subsidiary is "likely to have a Tango module" for the Moto Z line smartphones... though he stopped short of confirming such an add-on was currently in the works."
Indeed, a mod for the 5.5-inch Moto Z would provide a much more practical phone to use and allow users to add or remove the Tango functionality as they desired. Stay tuned for more Gamenguide Google Tango Tech update.
