Ryan Reynolds has been thankful about the success of "DeadPool." And before all that, he almost did not make it after "The Green Lantern" failed in reception.
Reynolds felt he represented a dead superhero after the movie did not succeed. Taraji P. Henson made an interview with Reynolds and he confessed that it was very hard for him to find a job after "The Green Lantern." He auditioned for "DeadPool" but almost got unhired for the movie.
Entertainment relayed that he loved the character of Wade Wilson as it almost fit his personality, which took a great factor for the movie to succeed. Reynolds added that his character in "Deadpool" is like a weird superhero anarchy though dressed in a superhero suit but more in a marketing material. At the end of the production he also brought the suit at home.

After his downfall of playing the role of "The Green Lantern" back in 2011, he described that the pain he received from the disapproval has come right on the heels. Even though a stellar performance in indie thriller entitled "Buried" including his comedy movies has also been acclaimed, it was not enough to sustain his career.

After all that "DeadPool" has made great change into his career, he says it gave him a new look and a better future. He definitely has come back. As per Movie Tech Geeks This time after a few years, he finally chose the right step forward.
"DeadPool 2" will be coming back again next year, and rumors has it that he will replaced for the next installment. Creative differences is said to be the root of the speculations, but that remains unverified.
