iPad mini 5 may be coming out in stores in Apple this year. It has been almost a year since the release of the iPad mini 4 and speculations arise that the long-awaited successor is going to be released together with the iPhone 7.
The iPad mini 5 rumored features include a thinner device with more storage. As of this writing, Apple has not yet confirmed the release of the actual iPad mini 5 but there are certain indications that give clues.
The iPad mini 5 was initially rumored to replace the iPad mini 4 sometime in the fall. Already it could be noticed that refurbished models of the iPad mini 4 have been put up for sale on Apple's Certified Refurbished Store.
Apple officially tested and certified the refurbished devices that are featured in the store with 1 year warranty for iPad fans that want to buy the iPad mini 4 at a much lower cost than the regular retail price in the market today. Fans take it as a strong indicator that the iPad mini 5 is going to be launched sooner than expected, Mac Rumors reported.
There have also been rumors that the iPad mini 5 would take on a different name than expected. The upcoming iPad may come out branded as the iPad Pro mini instead of iPad mini 5. Apple is reportedly focused on branding its tablet devices with Pro.
The iPad mini 5 or alternatively the iPad Pro mini has been expected to be a thinner version than the iPad mini 4. It has also been said to have the 3D Touch technology. The iPad mini 5 may also be expected to have more with a 32GB storage than the regular 16GB storage.
