But since "No Man's Sky's" release, the team at Hello Games has been the subject of most players outraging about the game. One has even said that "the game was perfectly enjoyable yet it was the marketing which makes it a mistake".
Moreover, reports have claimed that ASA had received 23 complaints about "No Man's Sky's" Steam store page, with most accusing the assets of painting a misleading picture of Hello Games' space title. Complaints centred around screenshots and videos that depicted advanced animal behavior, large-scale combat and ship-flying behavior believed not to have ended up in the launch version of the game," Euro Gamer announced.
However, ASA's ruling over the matter is not against Hello Games. It based upon Hello Games' Assertion that No Man's Sky is a procedurally generated game, and so the player experience varies from playthrough to playthrough and that consumers would ... not generally expect to see those specific creatures, landscapes, battles and structures," ASA added.
Despite the ruling some players are planning to escalate it to Hayden Phillips, who acts as the Independent Reviewer of ASA Adjudications and are now expecting that Phillips will rule for them.
Do you think that Phillip's decision will run counter ASA's ruling?
