An information has been posted on an exclusive website telling that the remake of the film will not follow its original core. Instead it will feature a white male European sailor to be her savior and love interest. However, the casting for "Mulan," and Chen Honghui to fit for the roles is already underway.
The movie "Mulan" is an original 1998 film featuring voice actors Ming-Na Wen, Eddie Murphy, Miguel Ferrer, and BD Wong in the English version and Jackie Chan as well. The film grossed $304 million worldwide, Variety relayed.
"Mulan" has been in-line with Disneys "Beauty and the Beast" which earned a viewing record of 91.8 million after 24 hours and will hit theaters on March 17. Another Disney's successful live-action films comes "Maleficent" and "Cinderella." Another film next to retell were "Jurassic World" and "Avatar."

Meanwhile, a global casting for "Mulan" and her new love interest is ongoing. She must be 18-20 years old, able to speak fluent English and Mandarin Chinese; lithe, athletic, quick, tougher than she looks. She is a lady who lives in rural China in 630 AD while Chen Honghui must be 20 years old, must speak the same he must also be strapping, cocky and handsome. Disney's live-action retelling "Mulan" will be released Nov. 2, 2018. The film is produced by Jason Reed along with Chris Bender and Jake Weiner, while the director is yet to be announced.
