"Grimm" Season 6 is set to return this coming January 2017 and rumor has it that David Giuntoli himself revealed the possibility of having two more seasons.
According to reports, ever since the official announcement that "Grimm" Season 6 is the final part of the NBC's crime procedural drama series, online petitions started to circulate around the web.
As of writing, fan petitions for "Grimm" Season 6 such as "SAVE OUR SHOW GRIMM" and "Have Netflix pick up the show Grimm after Season 6" already gained more than 11,000 supporters out of 15 to 16,000 goal.
"Grimm" Season 7 and Season 8
Based on David Giuntoli's interview, aside from openly expressing his delight for having a chance to be part of the NBC family for six seasons, the actor also revealed that the door is still open after "Grimm" Season 6.
In University Herald's report, the 36-year-old actor revealed that "Grimm" Season 6 might not be the last season of NBC's crime procedural drama series. The actor stated that there might be more than one new season after the sixth season.
In addition to this, it is not only the actor who seems to hint that there will be more seasons to come as his costars also expressed their hope for more sequels.
Directorial Debut
Based on Mobiles & Apps, "Grimm" Season 6 is Giuntoli's directorial debut. Seeing him in the director's chair is not surprising at all and if Season 6 is not the show's last season, this might be actor's start of directing more episodes for the show.
Adding on, the site even noted that the actor is also hopeful that this will not be the end of his directing job for the show in the near future.
Adalind and Nick Story Arc
Now that Season 5 finale hinted Juliette's return, speculations hint that the Nick and Adalind will face more serious conflict in "Grimm" Season 6. Spoilers also hint that the grimm will be torn between the mother of his child and to his ex-fiance.
Adding on, as Giuntoli promised that the cast and the writers are making sure to give justice to each character's story arc, another speculation hints that this might lead to the death of a fan-favorite character.
