Nintendo Switch has again proven its worth, this time to 2K and Rockstar parent Take-Two Interactive. According to Take-Two's president Karl Slatoff, the Nintendo Switch is exciting and is making superb choices with regard to third-party support.
"We're very intrigued and excited about it," Slatoff said during the Credit Suisse Technology, Media and Telecom conference, as per GameSpot. "The Nintendo folks I think are making a great effort to reach out to third-party developers, which I think is fantastic," he added.
Nintendo Switch Is A Hit Among Gaming Execs
It isn't the first time the Nintendo Switch, also known as NX, received praises from the industry's big bosses. To recall, Ubisoft's boss Alain Corre spoke highly of the video game console in his interview with MCV. GameStop's CEO Paul Raines also commented on the Nintendo Switch, saying the NX will entice more people into gaming.
Slated for a March 2017 release, the NX already has a healthy amount of GameStop pre-orders. However, it is yet to be seen if the Nintendo Switch meets the Wii's success, which sold 100M units. The Wii U on the other hand has shifted about 13M units by comparison.
Take-Two Has A Positive Outlook On The Nintendo Switch
It was revealed in October that Take-Two is one of the many partners for the Nintendo Switch. The system's announcement included a clip of an "NBA 2K" game, although its publisher made no confirmation yet whether the game will be releasing on the console. "Skyrim" has also made it to the rumor mill, although Bethesda is yet to confirm the speculations.
Nintendo Switch's list of partners includes high profile publishers like Activision, Capcom, Electronic Arts and Ubisoft. The highly-anticipated video game console will go on sale in March 2017. An event on January 13, 2017 is set to reveal the NX's specs and price and hopefully, its roster of games.
