Samsung is said to be giving birth to a new device and it's purported to be an upgraded version of the Samsung Galaxy C7 which was just recently released back in June. The new version is allegedly dubbed Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro and reports say that it has surfaced once again in a benchmarking website.
According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro device was first spotted at Indian import-export tracker website Zauba. Later on, it emerged in Geekbench and now the latest is in AnTuTu benchmark. Tagged with the model code SM-C7010, the device is said to run with a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC as detailed in the listing.
Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro is also said to carry with it a full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. AnTuTu did not mention the display size but the Zauba listing showed that it will have a 5.7-inch display. Noted also in the listing is the RAM count which is 4 GB and native storage capacity of 64 GB. A microSD card is expected for further expansion up to 256 GB in size.
The device is also said to feature a 16-megpixel rear camera. The surprising part though is that it's listed to come with a front camera that will have 16 megapixels just like the rear. The original Galaxy C7 only comes with 8 megapixels front camera so it's a big update. Reports also mentioned that the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro is expected to sport a metal unibody design with a fingerprint scanner. It will run with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow as its operating system.
As of now, nothing is certain yet when the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro will be unveiled to the public but speculations suggest that it could be out sometime this December already. It's also rumored to come out alongside the Galaxy C5 Pro. Fans who are looking out for these devices will have to stay tuned for more info soon.
