One Direction, a phenomenal band formed in 2010, may not be breaking up after all! Niall Horan, in an interview, confirmed that there will be a 1D reunion, something which the followers have been hoping to happen.
The band, after its grueling five-year stint on the road and recording, has left fans devastated with the announcement earlier this year. But there seems to be a ray of hope that One Direction will eventually wind up getting back together. Fans believed that the announcement was for a hiatus.
So technically, they have not broken up- something that fans fear to happen. "We will be back," Niall Horan, the first of the foursome One Direction to release a solo single, told Sunday People. "We would be silly not to... ridiculous."
"At the moment we are all doing our own thing," Horan of One Direction said. "Harry wanted to do his movie and everyone is just chilling...I don't think anyone needs to worry about us, we are fine." Horan, who has worked on his music since the hiatus announcement in January, has recently released his solo single "This Town," and performed at the American Music Award.
Liam Payne, is reported to spend most of his time in the studio working on an album. Harry Styles, who has signed a solo recording contract, will be in the upcoming Christopher Nolan film "Dunkirk." Louis Tomlinson, who has completely taken time off from the limelight, is now living in Los Angeles and taking care of his son, Freddie. Zayn Malik, who left One Direction in 2015, has gone on finding his own solo career.
"We can't put a date on it but it won't be in 50 years' time. It's in the foreseeable future. We've talked about it but for now we'll just play by ear and see what happens." Horan of One Direction disclosed. No one is quite certain what the future holds for One Direction. For now, stay tuned here at Game & Guide for updates.
