From hosting the CMA Country Christmas last Monday, an appearance on "The Voice" on Tuesday, and regaining her role in "Dolly Parton's Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love" on Wednesday, Jennifer Nettles was indeed the star of the holiday season.
Jennifer Nettles hosted the star-studded event CMA Country Christmas on Monday night, Nov.28. With her amazing hosting skills, there's no question that this was her seventh in a row being the front woman of the said occasion. CMA Country Christmas is annual holiday event to promote several new Christmas albums. When asked what was her secret of being a good host, Jennifer Nettles said, "The best thing you can do is be relaxed and make it about everybody else, celebrating whatever occasion it may be that you are coming together to celebrate, and make sure they feel welcomed."
Aside from hosting the event, Jennifer Nettles did her one of the biggest and stunning performance singing songs in her Christmas album this year. Steven Allen composed song "Cool Yule" opened the 2-hour CMA Country Christmas. Pop stars including Loretta Lynn, Rascal Flatts, Kelly Clarkson, Kelsea Ballerini, Brad Paisley, Trisha Yearwood performed. Jennifer Nettles sang along with Menzel in "The Little Drummer Boy" and "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" with Andra Day.
On Tuesday night, the country music singer had performed in the singing talent show "The Voice" together with Dolly Parton singing "Circle of Love." The song was connected in the upcoming NBC Film holiday sequel, "Dolly Parton's Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love" that will air at 9 p.m., Wednesday on Channel 13.
Jennifer Nettles will regain her role as the young Dolly's mom in the 2-hour movie co-starring with Dolly Parton. The film was all about the humble Partons Family living in the mountain of Tennessee. With Christmas miracle experience, the family relationship became stronger with an undefined live for each other. It was indeed an inspirational story which suitable in this upcoming Christmas holiday season.
