Black Friday and Cyber Monday are over and it is time to check which console, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, performed better in terms of gross sales. Sony and Microsoft's game consoles are reported to have performed well over all. Black Friday ended up with $3.34 billion in sales and has dethroned Cyber Monday as the largest online shopping of the year.
PlayStation 4 Outperformed By Xbox One On Black Friday?
According to Adobe's annual market-tracking data, PlayStation 4 was beaten by Xbox One last Black Friday although Microsoft's game console landed only on the fifth place among the electronic gadgets. The best sellers are, in descending order, Apple iPad, Samsung's 4K television, MacBook Air, LG television and Xbox One.
Microsoft's Xbox One beat Sony's PlayStation 4 and Nintendo's 3DS and Wii U. However, some experts note that PlayStation 4 has an ecosystem that is more complicated than Xbox One. If there had been deals on PlayStation 4 Pro on Black Friday, many believed that Sony's game console could have beaten Xbox One. For Nov 1 to 24, Adobe further reports that PlayStation 4 is still the top selling console.
