Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is a highly-anticipated device that was supposed to be announced in September. However, Samsung did not announce the device back then and that disappointed fans a lot. Now, rumors suggest that the Galaxy Tab S3 could be released in the first quarter of 2017, possibly in two variants.
According to Phone Radar, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has been spotted entering India for testing purposes. As per Indian import tracker Zauba, the tab will have a Wi-Fi and an LTE variant. Even though details about the tab are scarce, the device is said to have an AMOLED Display. More details are expected in a few weeks.
Trusted Reviews site believes that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will come with an Exynos 8890 chipset, also found in the flagship Samsung Galaxy S7. There is also a high probability of the device sporting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. For now, the price of the tablet is believed to be $500 though listing price almost always change when the final product is released.
At this point, with scarcity of Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 spec details, tech enthusiasts can only take cues from its predecessor, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2. It was launched in two variants, one with a 9.7-inch display and the other with an 8-inch display. The 9.7-inch variant came with an AMOLED Display with a screen resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels.
It also had a 3GB RAM and 32/64GB internal storage options, expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 had a 5,870 mAh battery and 8MP front camera and 2.1MP selfie camera. Tech enthusiasts believe the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will also come with similar specs, albeit a few upgrades here and there. Stay tuned on GameNGuide for more updates on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3.
