It's just a few months since the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus had been launched yet several fans are already eager to know what will Apple's next smartphone be like. Several reports claim that Apple is now working with the iPhone 8. The new iPhone 8 is rumoured to feature super advanced specs that would change the tech industry.
According to a report from BGR, Apple is planning to make the wireless charging technology available to iPhone 8. Reports say that the long distance wireless technology uses over the air electricity to low-power devices within a distance of one meter and making it available in the iPhone 8 would be revolutionary.
The Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo at KGI Securities previously reported that the company was working on a curved glass casing. The glass casing will also be needed to improve the wireless charging capabilities of the iPhone 8.
There are also reports that say Apple will be relying on its rival company Samsung for most of its OLED supplies for the iPhone 8. Apple is currently one of the the market leaders and only one of the few companies that can mass produce the curved OLED displays. Apple might also be seeking the help of companies LG Display, Japan Display and Sharp to speed up the mass production of iPhone 8.
According to a report from Trusted Reviews, Apple also asked its OLED display suppliers for a thinner OLED panel and to submit prototype screens with better resolution compared to other Samsung products. This might actually mean that the iPhone 8 will have much better display compared to Samsung smartphones.
