Latest reports claim that the giant tech company will be removing the Snap mode, Windows Central reported. The Xbox One feature is said to be replaced with a picture-in-picture multitasking tool to hover on the corner of a game. Apparently, the Snap mode app is taking up so much of the Xbox One screen.
In addition, the Xbox One guide is said to add more features as well as more functionality. The overhauled Xbox One Guide will reportedly display pins and may allow users to customize apps and Xbox One games that appear in the menu. Furthermore, the double tap is also rumored to replace the single tap for accessibility.
Microsoft is yet to reveal the official release date for the forthcoming patch. However, rumor has it that the changes to the Snap feature may take the tech company a long time to finalize. Furthermore, Microsoft is also expected to be busy preparing for the Xbox One Scorpio which is slated to become the future most powerful console.
