"Minecraft: Story Mode" Episode 1 will be free for PS3 and Xbox 360 gamers in North America. This was announced by Telltale Games a few weeks ago.
The "Minecraft: Story Mode" Episode 1 is a collaboration of Telltale and game developer Mojang. The episode entitled "The Order of the Stone", which is now free, has reportedly affected the costs of the Season Passes and Adventure Pass. In "Minecraft: Story Mode" Episode 1, the player can select between a male of a female version of the character named Jesse. According to reports, the player needs to travel over at the Overworld while passing through the Nether, the End up to beyond, along with other companions.
From there, the "Minecraft: Story Mode" Episode 1 players will meet the Slayers of the Ender Dragon such as the Redstone Engineer, the Warrior, the Griefer and the Architect. Being the hero, the players are tasked to save the world by going on a quest to look for "The Order of the Stone." Aside from that, they can also create their own story, given the fact that their decisions will affect the story's direction.
Meantime, "Minecraft: Story Mode" Episode 1 update includes additional combat mechanics of the game. Now, the players can participate in duels by using shields and swords. In other news, the Minecraft Pocket Edition is set to receive "The Ender Dragon" update, according to NeuroGadget. In a recent announcement, Mojang revealed that a considerable amount of changes is coming to the Minecraft console versions that will bring the editions much closer to the Java edition.
"Minecraft's" most significant updates include the addition of Ender Cities and the Elytra, which is the much-awaited glider that enables the players to explore the world from the skies. The chorus flowers, chorus plants and purpur blocks are said to be harvested from The End to allow players more alternatives in decoration and construction, Kotaku reported.
