November is coming to a close and the Yuletide season starts soon. While many have likely listed down the thing they want for the Christmas season, the Apple jailbreaking community continues to hope for an iOS 10 jailbreak which has been nothing more than a myth.
In a previous post, Pangu allegedly has an iOS 10 jailbreak ready and complete with new features. While that should be something to look forward to, their track record for the year hasn’t exactly been convincing.
They showed off that iOS 10 jailbreak at MOSET 2016 but nothing ever came out. There were, in fact, three iOS jailbreaks expected but not a single one saw the light of day. Could December be different? No one knows for sure.
Individual hackers have been trying to steal the limelight from Pangu but mostly for show. Lucas Todesco and some unknown hackers have showcased videos showing an iOS 10 crack but did not make their breakthroughs public.
Hence, Pangu or maybe even TaiG are still the sole reliable hacking groups that can come up with a credible iOS 10 jailbreak. The shield being used by Pangu right now is that they want Apple to make the first move by releasing iOS 10.2, Neurogadget reported.
While Apple may do that in December, there is no assurance that Pangu will keep its end of the bargain. The thing here is that Apple has successfully thwarted the exploits of a potential iOS 10 jailbreak with most seemingly giving up on seeing a latest crack out in the open, Neurogadget reported.
