It is still unknown whether the wrestler's character would be a friend or an enemy of the superhero. There are also speculations saying that John Cena and Mark Ruffalo are doing a scene together, giving fans a lot of room for the imagination.
The Hulk and Thor, who have been noticeably absent in the epic battle of "Captain America: Civil War," are set to embark on a journey of their own in "Thor: Ragnarok." Spoilers point out that the movie will show the God of Thunder battling against the most powerful intergalactic aliens that threaten to invade the Earth.
Fans have now speculated that with John Cena's reputation as a mighty WWE wrestler, he might be comically recruited from Earth to join the battle in "Thor: Ragnarok." He would then be joining fellow wrestler Dave Bautista, who plays Drax the Destroying in "Guardians of the Galaxy," in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
"Thor: Ragnarok" will be directed by Taika Watiti, and stars returning cast members Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston as the celestial brothers Thor and Loki. Anthony Hopkins will then be returning as Odin, with Idris Elba coming back as Heimdall. Mark Ruffalo will appear as the Hulk, with Cate Blanchett playing Hela and Tessa Thompsan portraying Valkyrie.
