PCGames reported that to manage all of these patrols, "Maia" update 0.59 also adds the command and control room to the base building. The new command and control room offers players improved command oversight of your base. The update also enables colonists to track heat signatures within your base network. Also, colonists can lift the population cap and add a special map view to see threats and friendlies in the area.
UI accessibility has been enhanced. The game is now integrated with a new dyslexic mode. This is to present a dyslexia-friendly font and bigger text sizes in the entire game. Overlay texts were added dynamic drop shadows to provide comfort for players when reading in high contrast scenes.
