"Pokemon GO" has truly been exciting with the augmented reality feature and letting players catch and battle Pokemon as they journey far and wide in their quest to be the very best. A big part of this challenge is getting the most Pokemon, especially the rarer ones, which has proven to be a big challenge for each and every player.
Among those every elusive rare Pokemon in "Pokemon GO" is Ditto and almost nobody has seen this Pokemon anywhere in the game. Fortunately, this chameleon of a Pokemon can now be caught but it doing so will not be necessarily easy as one has to go through a lot.
Phone Arena reports that Ditto can now be officially added to a player's Pokedex and several players have already done so. Because this Pokemon's only ability is to transform into other Pokemon, it will transform into the first Pokemon it sees when fighting at a gym and would copy that Pokemon's signature attacks. This makes Ditto one great Pokemon to have around with in "Pokemon GO" since it will not be outmatched too easily when it fights with others.
However, it has to be noted that Ditto will not look like a Ditto when out in the wild for a player to catch. Since it will be in a morphed form, "Pokemon GO" players would have to catch every Pidgey in sight in the paths that they cross. There are Pidgeys in every corner in the game and doing so might give a player a thousand at the end of the day, but all that would be worth it when a player ends up with a Ditto.
The Verge reports that the addition of Ditto to "Pokemon GO" is a last ditch effort to make a player open up to the game for the first time or a reason for those who stopped playing to play again. Not only does a player have to catch every Pidgey in sight, but every other common Pokemon as well including Ratatas and Weedles since wild Dittos take the form of these creatures when it is not caught.
