Samsung Galaxy S8 has come up with yet another smart voice assistant named Kestra. It is being considered as the feminine alter ego version of the already developed voice assistant Bixby.

The new trademark documents that have been obtained have revealed identical applications though they have a different name. This way Samsung has proved becoming an AI employer who offer equal opportunities without bias. Android Authority stated that most of the brands have the trademark filings limited to documents and they never implement them to the market.
The same source claimed there is no doubt on the trademark filing of the Samsung Galaxy S8, as the brand is expected not to ditch the customers and the market. Samsung would make sure the male and female versions of the voice assistants arrives the market in 2017. In addition, there is a rumor that Siri creator's advanced AI assistant Viv will be a significant part of the Bixby and Kestra technology.

Earlier, it was announced that the Samsung Galaxy S8 voice assistant will be called Bixby, but a new declaration revealed the plans of the brand of having a feminine alter ego named Kestra. It has been observed that Samsung had to struggle a lot in acquiring trademarks for the assistants with names having similar pronunciations. This is due to the variations in the spellings, including Bixby, Bix-by, Bix - bee, etc.
"Computer software for snabling hands-free use of a mobile phone through voice recognition," the trademark description for the Samsung Galaxy 8 voice assistants stated as quoted by Phone Arena. "Computer software used to process voice commands," the description added.
On the other hand, SamMobile seems to have decided to introduce a novel voice-based payment system, which will involve using Bixby. Samsung Galaxy S8 will be the device to possibly have this feature. The users are awaiting the launch of the mobile soon to use the special features and enjoy the advanced tech experience.
