Black Friday sale gave gamers an opportunity to acquire PlayStation titles at almost half the cost. Sony actually had lowered the prices of Playstation 4 games ahead of Thanksgiving Day, but on Black Friday, the manufacturer of PS4 offered more titles some of which were launched only in October.
The bulk of titles included in Sony’s Black Friday sale were Playstation 4 games priced for as low as $7.79 for “Pac-Man Champion Edition 2,” according to the list of TechnoBuffalo. There were also a few games for PS3 and PS Vita, with the games discounted by up to 50 percent off the original price.
A Must For PS4 Owners
However, while shopping extravaganza such as Black Friday are good times to add titles to your Playstation 4 collection, Business Insider recommends for gamers who would purchase or receive a PlayStation on Black Friday or during the Christmas holidays to pay for yearly subscription to PlayStation Plus.
There are three reasons why the gamer, who may have purchased a lot of discounted PS4 games during the Black Friday sale, must still subscribe to the paid loyalty program of Sony. First, the subscriber could play games with other PS4 owners. After all, a lot of PS games are multiplayer games.
Second reason is to enjoy more discounts on games for Playstation 4 and movies. Black Friday deals usually cuts prices on games, not movies. A third reason is that having an annual subscription to PlayStation Plus gives the subscriber free games monthly, not just discounted games similar available during Black Friday sale. The free games include “Rocket League,” “Spelunky” and “Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes.”
Monthly Fee Option
If the gamer would subscribe this November and pay the yearly fee of $60, the subscriber would get “Everybody’s Gone” and “The Deadly Tower of Monsters.” Playstation 4 gamers who opt for a shorter commitment instead of yearly subscription could pay instead $10 a month.
