Here's some news that precisely no one would want to hear. The showrunners of the much acclaimed HBO hit series implied that it might miss its traditional April release date. Seems that fans of "Game of Thrones" will be seeing Season 7 premiere during summer.
"Game of Thrones" executive producers David Benioff and Dan Weiss, stated that because of the season - ''winter is here", the debut of Season 7 would be better off if it will be released on summer. This is to accommodate shooting schedule as well, they added.
Who's in?
Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Lena Headey (Cersei), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion), and Emilia Clarke (Daenerys) all who were all reported to have a contract until the seventh installment in the later part of 2014. Even though they have signed to "Game of Thrones" Season 7 already, it is still not a guarantee that their characters will survive and live until the end of the series. For example, Natalie Dormer (Margaery), who, in 2014, signed up for Season 7 as well but that didn't stop her character from bursting into flames at the end of sixth installment.
Ser Jorah of House Mormont will also be back, although it is yet to be known if he will find the cure to his fatal illness greyscale. The undeniable victor of "Game of Thrones" season 6 is neither Jon Snow nor Daenerys Targaryen - it was Lyanna Mormont (Bella Ramsey). The little bad-ass of House Mormont will also be back. There are even whispers that the long-dead Khal Drogo will make a comeback in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. This is after Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo) was spotted in Ireland with the series forerunners. This was even fueled more with a second snap of him next to Kit Harrington. In one of his Instagram posts, he teased saying "I prepare for the north". It would be puzzling as how he will be resurrected, though.
Mother of Dragons to confront the King Slayer
The arrival of the Dothraki in Westeros could only mean that Daenerys and her dragons are nearby. This will really turn the heat up in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. With Daenerys' history, she would enact a sweet and long-awaited revenge on the King Slaying Lannister Jamie. Even if her father Aerys deserved to be coined as the "Mad King" and die, she would still avenge him. After all these years, Jamie Lannister could be paying his debts after all.
Fans might not get too hyped about the return of the epic series since whispers in the web indicate that it will conclude soon. Now that's a thought to ponder. For fresh from the box news and update of "Game of Thrones" Season 7, stay tuned to Gamenguide.
