The Marvel Cinematic Universe just keeps expanding with every movie release. However, all the movies have been leading up to a grand scheme, which will ultimately be the immense storyline of "Avengers: Infinity War." Superhero comic and movie fans are in for a treat, as a whopping 67 characters are set to appear.
The Guardians
With the ambitious plot of "Avengers: Infinity War," it is safe to say that the "Guardians of the Galaxy" protagonists will be joining the behemoth lineup. Vin Diesel, who plays the beloved Groot in the movie, has confirmed that the Guardians are indeed coming to "Avengers: Infinity War." It would be really interesting to see the dynamics between the 67 characters here.
Yet Another Hero
The ridiculously huge movie will definitely be populated with tons of superheroes, but the Russo brothers are not quite satisfied just yet. In an interview with Yahoo movies, they have confirmed that a new hero will be introduced in "Avengers: Infinity War," but they still aren't sure which character to bring into the mix.
The Winter Soldier
Fitting 67 characters in the "Avengers: Infinity War" might be a daunting task, but it does not necessarily have to be if you got the second lead character from the "Captain America" franchise. Bucky Barnes, otherwise known as the Winter Soldier and is played by Sebastian Stan, has been confirmed to join the enormous cast. His strong command and leadership skills, along with his physical prowess could prove very useful in the ensuing battle to come.
'Community' Tie-In
One of the most delightful running jokes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is the cameo appearance of several cast members of the now concluded TV show "Community." DC Pearson, who made brief appearances in the show, also briefly appeared in "Captain America: Winter Soldier." Daniel Pudi, who is known as the resident geek in the show, appeared as a SHIELD technician. What else should we expect in "Avengers: Infinity War"?
Later on, Jim Rash, who plays the flamboyant Greendale Community College, appeared on a seemingly similar role in "Captain America: Civil War." With these appearances, added with the fact that the Russo brothers were once the producers of "Community," more cameos from the show might make it to "Avengers: Infinity War."
