"Sea of Thieves," a game developed by Rare, has already released its "Insider Programme." Members will now have the privilege of being part of the testing phases ahead of the full release next year.
According to Bobby "Death Beard" Lamirande, engagement manager for Rare, the game is available for sign up now. He also stated that the programme is created in order to give the community a closer look on how far has the Sea of Thieves have come, with exclusive insights and updates on how the game is developing.
Those who will become members of the "Sea of Thieves" "Insider Programme," can avail of the bonuses to be given. They will also receive a regular message regarding the progress of the game and how their response is shaping the title.
A unique badge will also be bestowed to every Insider in the official forum of the "Sea of Thieves," in order for the engagement team to easily see their posts and feedback. Another purpose of the badge is to give the Insider access to the private section.
Surveys and questionnaires about the game will be sent to the Insiders. This will open a good opportunity for them to suggest designs for the development team and offer input on the gameplay.
"Sea of Thieves" was first made known at E3 2015 for PC and Xbox One. The "Inn-Side Story" developer diary series of the said game has been operating since August, and the following short from the start of November gives an idea on the way the game will function.
Alhough the release date has not been revealed yet, there is a great chance that this game will be formally launched on February 2017. This is according to a tweet from Xbox Australia that was later deleted.
