Brangelina, once dubbed as Hollywood's biggest power couple, is going through a messy and publicized divorce. The show business is definitely rattled by the way the seemingly divine marriage quickly went south in a matter of seconds.
The latest chapter in the Brangelina Divorce Saga involves Angelina and cigarettes. Several publications report that Jolie, 41, is smoking more than several sticks a day to cope with the complications that comes with the very-public disintegration of their marriage.
According to Radar Online, the "Maleficient" actress is "puffing up a storm" in order to cope with the emotional complications brought about by the split. What makes this news alarming is the fact that she is susceptible to cancer: her mother died of the disease at the age of 56.
One of the probable reasons for her stress is Pitt's absence on Thanksgiving. Jolie decided that her "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" co-star won't join her and their children, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, twins Knox and Vivienne, 8, when the time comes for turkey carving. Pitt was reported to be "crushed" by the decision, and it seems like the same holds true for Angelina.
Another possible source of stress for Angelina is the rumors circulating between her ex-husband and Margot Robbie. A previous Gamenguide article reports that Pitt finds the "Suicide Squad" actress as the hottest woman on Hollywood. The "Inglorious Basterds" star is allegedly trying to get Robbie to work with him on several projects.
Whatever the reasons for her stress is, the cigarette seems to be catching up with her. A still from an E! News report featured Angelina Jolie's first public appearance since the split: she is not looking her best, and her emotional pangs are showing on her face.
Everyone can understand that what she is going through is tough, but smoking her heart out is not the best way of approaching things. Brangelina fans can only hope for Angelina to stop smoking and focus all of her energy on her children.
