Huawei P9 first released in April 2016 and was a popular device since it was the first to feature Leica dual lens camera. By now, the device is more than six months old and rumors about its successor -- Huawei P10 -- are already making the rounds.
It's no surprise that Huawei is reportedly working on another device in the Huawei P series since the current model is already selling well. Huawei P10 was previously leaked and more details continue to surface. Earlier, it was reported that the P10 might look like Meizu MX6 based on a prototype obtained by a source.
Now, alleged leaks emerged revealing what other features Huawei P10 might have. Based on renders, the P10 will have an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner but it would be located on the front, just below the screen as opposed to the back like in Huawei P9. Other leaks suggested that the P10 will come in two variants, seemingly following in the footsteps of Samsung Galaxy S7 series. The device is said to have a flat-screen model and one with a curved edge display.
Other rumored specs of the Huawei P10 include a 5.5-inch 1440x2560 display, which is an improvement from P9's 5.2 inches; a Kirin 960 processor and a 4 GB RAM paired with 64 GB storage capacity. A 6 GB/128 GB variant is also available, according to reports. The Leica dual camera lens setup is believed to be back for P9's successor. The smartphone is also expected to have a pre-installed Android Nougat.
As for the release date, the Huawei P10 is rumored to follow the release date of its predecessor -- in this case, sometime in April 2017. However, nothing is set in stone yet, so it's best to take the reports with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned for more only on GamenGuide.
