The release date of "Avatar 2" has been revealed by 20th Fox Century. The "Avatar 2" franchise has been trying all their efforts to be a franchise.
It's been sketching sequels to go on about, as long as the Marvel Cinematic Universe agrees. The only problem has been, the release date for the second film keeps getting pushed forward. The film studio has slipped that the sequel to the 2009 animated box office hit will arrive in cinemas in December 21, 2018 in an update to its late release.
"We're going to cross our fingers and hope that they're serious this time, "as James Cameron stated clearly that he wants every chapter of the "Avatar" franchise to revolutionize Hollywood in some way that the movie never seems to get any actual traction. His dreams are so high, they really seem to have become bigger than the actual movie he could ever have.
As Deadline reports, the extension of an untitled film from James Cameron's Lightstorm Entertainment for Fox's calendar, but all confirms that the film is out in two years.
Signs have pointed out the sequel has finally set for 2018; for a while and we know that these has been always set as Christmas movies, it makes sense. So "Avatar 2" will fall on Holiday season.
One of the first-four new "Avatar" sequels will be filmed this April 2017. At CinemaCon this year, Cameron announced that he plans to release the third, fourth and fifth films in the series in 2020, 2022 and 2023. "We're making four epic 'Avatar' films that stand alone but together form a saga. These movies were designed to be seen in theaters first," says James Cameron.
Fox also added two untitled Marvel movies with schedules to be released on November 2, 2018 and February 14, 2019. It'll probably the Deadpool sequel will fill one of these slots, following last week's news that John Wick co-director David Leitch has signed on for the project.
