Five Worthwhile Games That Deserve A Come Back For Nintendo Switch Including 'Star Fox'

There are plenty of franchises that Nintendo have disregarded but since Nintendo Switch is coming out soon, people are hoping that the company should revive some of classic Nintendo games. Although it's certain that it will board "Zelda", "Mario" and "Pokemon", there are other properties as well under the company's umbrella that are worth giving another try.

Slash Gear made a list of five gaming selections that Nintendo should restore on Nintendo Switch. These are "Star Fox", "Metroid", "F-Zero", "Golden Sun" and "Earthbound".

"Star Fox" had been an unappreciated franchise and there have been a few releases after "Star Fox 64" but only few of them have stayed true to what the game is. What's cool about it is that it doesn't need too much from what is present in the original and "Star Fox 64" just to be good enough for Nintendo Switch.

"Metroid" is one of Nintendo franchises, which has some odd designs although every 2D "Metroid" game released are critically acclaimed. For example, "Super Metroid" and "Castlevania" are the gold standard for action-adventure games and with "Metroid Prime: Federation Force", Nintendo Switch would be the perfect place for this franchise.

"F-Zero" is a far-fetched racing game that Nintendo has totally taken for granted since 2004. Other might think that the game is just the same with "Mario Kart" and it could be the reason why "F-Zero" has been ignored but these two are fairly different and they can both exist on Nintendo Switch.

"Golden Sun" has been a totally handheld-exclusive franchise in its whole life and it may not be on the same level of "Star Fox" and "Metroid" of being notorious, the game is a firm RPG series with summoning and spell mechanics that is notable in other numerous games. This is one great reason to have the franchise on Nintendo Switch.

Lastly, "Earthbound" became available on the SNES in 1995 and the franchise has never released new series since 2006. Releasing a new game in the series would certainly make Nintendo Switch a huge success.
