New iPhone 7S News & Update: Experts Suggest Cheaper Price For Future Flagships?

On their 10th anniversary, Apple decided to launch their new iPhone 7s to celebrate occasion. Meanwhile, Apple's CEO Tim Cook and his team had plans to adjust iPhone's demands into a more valuable price.

Apple Analyst of KGI Securities, Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that a 4.7-inch iPhone 7s model (to be launced in 2017) could be the new medium-price for Apple. If it lowers the selling price, accounting for between 30-35 percent of shipments next year. He also thought that iPhone 8 will get the most sales ranging between 50-55 percent shipment of new iPhone models.

The use of LCD display continues on the new iPhone 7s and 7s Plus with 4.7 and 5.5 inches while the upcoming iPhone 8 will go under OLED. All three handsets are expected to use Apple's A11 chipset featuring the wireless charging system plan. On a possible note, Apple is after the big change as the designs will shift from metal body to glass design both front and back.

"We believe one of the reasons why new iPhones will switch from metal casing to glass casing is to support wireless charging. In order to ensure a superior performance, we believe it is most appropriate for EMS suppliers to develop and make the wireless charger because then a comprehensive test can be conducted," Kuo said.

Apple expects that iPhone 8 will be their top-end flagships, the company team might jump-off the traditional 'S' on their iPhone models next year. Ming-Chi Kuo, however, thinks that company will still continue using their 'S' version in 2017. Furthermore, he mentioned that Foxconn will become the primary manufacturer of iPhone's OLED and Pegatron as the exclusive supplier of the 4.7-inc LCD model. But he was unsure of the company's current plans for next year's iPhone or whether it will go beyond what is expected.
