"Fallout 5" is said to be the current main priority of game developer and publisher Bethesda alongside "The Elder Scrolls 6." Although the company has yet to provide concrete details with regard to its development and release date, reports are circulating that the sequel of the 2015 action role-playing video game "Fallout 4" is already in the works.
According to the latest reports, Bethesda appears to be focusing more on "Fallout 5" over "The Elder Scrolls 6." To the delight of many fans all over the world, "Fallout 5" might arrive sooner than expected. Apparently, the game developer has decided to concentrate on the development of the much-awaited game title after it garnered positive reviews from critics including Game Spot and IGN. It was also revealed by Bethesda's Todd Howard that "The Elder Scrolls 6" is currently not an active project; however, he said that the company will definitely make the sequel in the future.
Although "Fallout 5" has a pretty huge fanbase, no one can deny that "The Elder Scrolls" franchise is one of the most popular video series ever, thanks to the "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim." Bethesda has recently rolled out "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition," and although fans appreciate the new release, many are hoping for another installment to arrive anytime soon.
In another report by Movie News Guide, Bethesda is said to be planning on a New York or Japan setting of the upcoming "Fallout 5." However, there are rumors suggesting that the game developer is also considering The Big Easy as the perfect setting of the new installment.
