"God of War" is expected to be released next year. The game was actually expected to be a continuation of "God of War 3: Remastered" but ended to be the exact opposite. "God of War 4" or simply "God of War" as it is intended to be called, starts a new three-year saga of its own with Kratos and his son, who is said to be Thor, on an ancient Nordic land.
@alexissaavedra4 a new saga is beginning, for sure.

On the other hand, According to reports Kratos' son, who happened to be with him as "God of War" the new saga starts, would surely be a vital factor for the latest story arc of the game. It is said that Kratos' son would grow up as Thor, the Nordic God of Thunder as the boy shows some capabilities present to the Nordic God.
Additionally, the setting of "God of War" is an ancient Nordic land that somehow adds to this hypothesis. One of the main mission on "God of War" is to make sure that both Kratos and his son will end up alive and that Kratos would teach his son ways to survive the land.
