Gabby (Monica Raymund) and Antonio (Jon Seda of Chicago P.D.) get a visit from their parents in the next episode of “Chicago Fire” Season 5 airing on Tuesday night on NBC. Meanwhile, Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) gets some unsettling news about a family member.
According to the synopsis of “Chicago Fire” Season 5 titled “Lift Each Other”, Gabby and Antonio’s parents will arrive in town for a big anniversary celebration. But, what was intended to be a happy family reunion soon turns south.
Meanwhile, a deep secret involving his stepson James (Juan Lozada) comes to the surface which prompts Chief Boden to take matters into his own hands. Casey (Jesse Spencer) is pushed to do everything he could to save a young boy during a harrowing call to a warehouse. On a lighter note, Otis (Joe Minoso) and Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) get competitive in a mud-hundred race in the same “Chicago Fire” Season 5 episode.
In other news about “Chicago Fire” Season 7, TVLine reported the guest appearance of “Rookie Blue” actress Charlotte Sullivan. She will portray the role of a patient in serious need of a bone marrow transplant who will be saved by Severide (Taylor Kinney) towards the end of the mid-season finale on December 6.
Back to the next episode of “Chicago Fire” Season 5, Seda revealed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter how the arrival of his character’s parents will influence both him and Gabby. Playing the role of the parents are Fulvia Vergel and Daniel Zapaca.
According to Seda, the Dawson siblings are emotional especiall when it comes to family matters. So when there are issues about the family that will come up in the next “Chicago Fire” episode, they are pretty much affected.
