Based on Lemony Snicket's best- selling book, comes the story of the Baudelaire children and a trail of mishaps which will soon be on Netflix. The multinational entertainment company has finally released its full-length trailer for its TV adaptation of "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events", giving its fans a peak of what to expect. The children are audacious, and the overall look is almost the same as the movie. Even Neil Patrick Harris was able to recreate the movie's devilish character Olaf.
The newest TV series is based on "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events" 13-book children's series, which features the many woes of the Baudelaire children: Klaus, Violet, and Sunny. After the mysterious accident that caused their parents' demise, the Baudelaire orphans were sent to live with Count Olaf, who is quite determined to get his hands on the children's massive fortune. The children tried to escape him by going through books after books, and as Olaf leaves a trail of arson, murder and other mischievous deeds along the way as he hunts the children down.
"Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events" doesn't sound too whimsical for a regular viewer, but Daniel Handler had changed the books and added a dose of humor combined with elaborate conspiracies, secret societies, and even hidden identities. How the series will translate to the TV screen is still something to watch for. The movie released in 2004 by Nickelodeon Movies made it well at the box office. However, a sequel never happened and the child actors who played the role outgrew their characters, The Guardian reported.
According to Deadline, Netflix will soon release "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events" on its online streaming service on January 13, 2017. This will give you some time to go through the books before diving into the Baudelaire children's mishaps as they go around escaping Olaf's grasps and finding out the true identity of their parents' murderer.
