'Tekken 7' Release Date News & Updates: New Trailer Reveals It’s Going to be Mayhem?

"Tekken 7" is arguably one of those most awaited video game titles to be released next year. The fighting game is the ninth installment of the "Tekken" franchise and is already considered by many as classic and one of those titles that placed fighting games back in the map. Just recently. Bandai Namco unveiled a new trailer that may hold clues on what to expect on the franchise for the future.

Based on the trailer, it is safe to say that the upcoming "Tekken 7" is going to be an all out mayhem. As the story revealed, the reason behind the conflict is the involvement of the three generations of the Mishima bloodline, the grandfather Heihachi Mishima, son Kazuya Mishima and grandson Jin Kazama.

More than half of the new trailer for "Tekken 7" is dedicated to non-game strategies and the game's love for cinematics. Towards the the end of the trailer, fans see an array of gameplay footages in rapid sequences. The trailer also reveals Jin Kazama using some sort of a jewel which fans believe is used for Jin to control his devil form.

In terms of gameplay, "Tekken 7" will showcase notable features such as the elimination of spur-of-the-moment battles by giving dialogue to help gamers keep in step with what is going on compared to previous versions as reported by Nashvillechatter. In addition, Akuma from the "Street Fighter" franchise will be making a special appearance and will play a vital role as he seems to have some beef with Heihachi Mishima.

This was expanded upon by Katsuhiro Harada in an interview with Gamespot. He stated that they are trying to move away from their typical game by making the gameplay more immersive with all cinematics shifting into an in-game scene and straight into the gameplay itself. Gamers are not thrown into a standard battle but will have a concrete story line. "Tekken 7" is scheduled to be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows in early 2017
