Google Pixel and Pixel XL has just released its latest update together with additional features that might come in handy. The latest feature includes the double-tap and the raise-to-wake features that were released for Canadian users yesterday.
The first feature, double-tap, feature in the Google Pixel and Pixel XL can immediately displays alert and notifications when you double tap two fingers on the screen according to The Droid-life. The second feature is the raise-to-wake feature that allows users to check the notifications immediately when they pick up the phone.
The users can set features once they have downloaded the update. The settings can be found in the Google Pixel and Pixel XL by going to Settings menu and just choose the Move Tab.Then turn on the "Double-tap to check" or "Lift to check phone" by sliding the blue button to the right on top of each option.
Google Pixel and Pixel XL update is available for models with build number NPF26J and it can be downloaded for a 261-MB-file size. There are still no announcements whether this update will be available soon in the US or other parts of the world using the Google Pixel phones.
The latest feature of Google Pixel and Pixel XL is also available for Google devices like the Nexus 6P but one of its competitors Apple has also introduced the raise-to-wake feature in their iOS 10 according to Polygon. Both Google phones are perfected to be the best Android smartphone as a direct option next to Apple's latest iPhones.
