Nintendo's "Pokemon Sun and Moon" finally hit the shelves earlier this week, and fans couldn't get enough of the Alolan regions and the new adventures it currently offers. But because the Alolan region, which was inspired by the island of Hawaii, is an entirely new universe for Pokemon trainers, it's understandable for first-timers to stumble and struggle in their path to Champion. Given all that, we've rounded up some incredibly useful tips for "Pokemon Sun and Moon" game walkthrough, particularly during the first leg of the journey as players aim to catch 'em all!
Melemele Island
One of the first things trainers would be passing by in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" is the Melemele island, where they will first have their encounters on wild Pokemon as well as a smattering of free items on the road. These include the usual fare like Caterpie, Metapod, Rattata, Ledyba and Spinarak, but also some rare Pokemon like Pichu and Snorlax.
Evolution stones
Another useful thing to know in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" is the location of all evolution stones such as fire, ice and leaf stones across Alolan region. Fire stones, for example, are found on Diglett's Tunnel on Akala Island. Ice stones, which are needed to get Alola forms for Red and Blue Pokemon like Sandshrew and Vulpix, are gotten from Po Town. Leaf stones are found in Poke Pelago, while Thunder stones are found in the Dream Park in Akala Island, according to VG 24/7.
Where to get important TMs
Last but not least in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" are the whereabouts of precious TMs, or Technical Moves, which are teachable moves to Pokemons. A lot of them are found on Poni Island, so make sure to roost there for stray TMs, like TM02 or Dragon Claw, TM04 or Calm Mind, TM14 or Blizzard, TM15 or Hyper Beam, TM24 or Thunderbolt and TM25 for Thunder.
