“Hawaii Five-O” Season 7 is still on its two-week hiatus and is set to return on December 6. The next episode of the hit CBS procedural drama series will return with a possible new love interest for Steve McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin). Who it is may be a big surprise to the viewers.
In the next episode of “Hawaii Five-O” Season 7 titled "Ka Luhi (The Burden)”, the team will look back into a 10-year-old cold case which involved a teenaged boy’s disappearance according to The Futon Critic. He has been suffering with PTSD and was undergoing hypnosis.
The case resurfaced because it may have something to do with the case introduced in the previous episode of “Hawaii Five-O” Season 7 which tracked down the culprit who shot Jerry’s (Jorge Garcia) friend, Susie. Spoiler TV reports that the team will realize that the missing boy from the old case may have witnessed Susie’s murder.
Danny’s (Scott Caan) sister, Bridget (Missy Peregrym), will be coming over and her appearance in the island may provide a new romantic interest for McGarrett. According to “Hawaii Five-O” Season 7 spoilers, the next episode will reveal Bridget’s crush on him.
Everyone knows about Steve’s love interests namely Catherine Rollins (Michelle Borth) and Lynn Downey (Sarah Carter). For a while, FBI profiler Alicia Brown (Claire Forlani) was being teased to have a more than business relationship with him. With Bridget’s entry into the picture, Steve’s lovelife may be taking an interesting twist in “Hawaii Five-O” Season 7. Bridget is in Oahu for business but while there, Danny suspects that she is getting too close and comfortable with Steve.
Meanwhile, Masi Oka, who plays the lovable nerd Dr. Max Bergman, has been announced to be leaving “Hawaii Five-O” Season 7. Additional reports say that he will make his last appearance in the 13th episode of the season where Max will be seen migrating to Africa after his wedding.

The actor went on to add that he was blessed to work for seven years on “Hawaii Five-O” but it has become increasingly difficult to commute from Los Angeles and Japan to Hawaii where the show is filmed.
