Is it possible to see a reboot of the "Twilight" movie saga? The movie which catapulted Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart to stardom might bring back the ex-couple together for a "Twilight" reboot sequel.
Though actors Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have been acting for awhile, it wasn't until they played the characters of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan in the "Twilight" movies did they become household names. Fans of the book series embraced the reel and real love team of "Twilight."
Inquisitr reports that Lionsgate Films is interested in a "Twilight" reboot, but that they would only follow what Stephenie Meyer, who authored all the "Twilight" books would want. Meyer has stated that she would like to move on to other worlds, even Middle-earth. She said she would only reconsider the reboot of the "Twilight" films if the characters of Jacob Black, Edward Cullen and Bella Swan will die.
Given that in the "Twilight" books ended with no one from the main characters meeting their demise, could this mean that Stephenie Meyer would be willing to write new books regarding the vampire and werewolves of "Twilight?" This is something that fans should look forward to.
The next question if whether Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart would be willing to take part in the rumored "Twilight" reboot. The couple parted ways when news of Stewart cheating on Pattinson with her director from "Snow White and the Huntsmen" broke out. It is unknown whether they have kept being friends after their time away from "Twilight".
They have since moved on to other relationships, Kristen Stewart recently came out as dating St. Vincent, and Robert Pattinson has been with fiancé FKA Twigs for a while now. But there are also rumors that say that Kristen Stewart wants to reunite with her ex-boyfriend. Whether that is just for the movie reboot of "Twilight" or for a more intimate relationship is unknown.
