BioWare will release its sixth expansion for "Star Wars: The Old Republic" next week, Dec. 2. This expansion, "Knights of the Eternal Throne," is coming in hot off the grills after a successful completion of its forerunning expansion last year - "Knights of the Fallen Empire".
The "Knights of the Eternal Throne's" story chapters will be fully released during their launch next week rather than released episodically over the course of 2017. The "Star Wars: The Old Republic" saga continues with both spectrum -- the Galactic Republic and Sith Empire armed forces facing off with a new adversary branded as the Eternal Empire. The epicenter of the "Knights of the Eternal Throne" is the skirmish to control the galaxy as well as previous expansions since 2013. Basically this is the basis of most "Star Wars" fiction.
However, "KET" will take that battle to a different path and a surprising finale. The character that the players will be controlling all through the story will seize the eternal throne to become the rightful ruler of the galaxy. The game studio however, is not juicing all the twist and turns of how "Star Wars: The Old Republic" will come to pass. Only that the player ruling the galaxy will take a core part of the MMO's new endgame scheme, known as the Galactic Command.
According to Ben Irving, the producer of the "Star Wars: The Old Republic", in his interview with Polygon last week, all the gear that you can acquire in the game will now come from Galactic Command. The idea is, the player can play all sort of activity they want and earn corresponding points. The harder the activity, the greater points you get. Also, you get a command rank, and every time you get a command rank, you will receive a loot crate holding powerful gears. Basically, this is one of the many alterations in the gameplay to anticipate.
Ultimately, gamers and fans alike will have a lot of things to expect from this well celebrated video game.
