The hit paranormal drama and procedural show will soon be returning for "Grimm" Season 6, which is said to be the final season. With this, Nick Burkhardt and Captain Sean Renard is rumored to finally end their conflict.
Season 6 Spoilers
Reports have stated that Nick (David Giuntoli) would still be fighting the Wesens in "Grimm" Season 6. He will be continuing to enforce his job and protect the community from these creatures. However, he still conceals his true identity as a Grimm while doing so.
Meanwhile, Captain Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz) would have possessed the Zauberbiest abilities in "Grimm" Season 6. He is also reportedly going to become the town mayor in the sixth season. This would be fitting with his manipulative personality to gain everything he wishes.
The characters of "Grimm" will face new and tougher challenges during Season 6. Adalind (Claire Coffee) is rumored to be choosing to side with her children in the sixth season. While doing so, she would then have to effectively leave Nick in the process.
"Grimm" Season 6 is also set to answer all the hanging questions from the previous season. One such glaring issue in the series that the upcoming season is going to address is the confrontation between Nick and Sean.
"Grimm" Spin-off Series
While "Grimm" will be ending after Season 6, fans still have a chance to see more action. It has been reported that a spin-off series is actually a possibility, and may occur right after "Grimm" Season 6.
The new "Grimm" spin-off will most likely focus on the Wesen family, especially their hybrid child. It is really interesting to see how the child of Rosalee Calvert (Bree Turner) and Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) could actually be stronger than the powerful children of Adalind. "Grimm" Season 6 is set to return on air on January 6 next year. Giuntoli, who portrays the lead character and Grimm Nick, is set to direct at least one episode in the upcoming season.
