"Rick and Morty" Season 3 has long been confirmed, but conflicting release dates somewhat bars the hype. However, new confirmed details have leaked regarding the third season of the show, which will definitely excite the fans eagerly waiting for "Rick and Morty" Season 3.
The Aloha State
When "Rick and Morty" Season 3 was confirmed, showrunner and creator Dan Harmon had stated that Adult Swim had allowed the production to take the show to Hawaii. This has been the first confirmed storyline for the show. However, it has not been confirmed as of yet if "Rick and Morty" will spend a considerable amount in Hawaii or if they'll just breeze through.
Vin Diesel Casting?
At the July 2016 Sand Diego Comic Con, the creators have released a preview clip from "Rick and Morty" Season 3. They then revealed that their dream guest star for the show is Vin Diesel. If this comes into fruition though, fans might see him doing what he does best, drifting cars fast and furiously. This would be a timely and relevant ordeal, as "Fast and Furious 8" is just around the corner.
Mr. Meeseeks Returns, New Writers, and Conflicting Air Dates
The creative team of "Rick and Morty" Season 3 has also considered for Mr. Meeseeks to come back to the show. While this would totally mix up the dynamics of the show, the team was reportedly not quite sure yet as to what capacity the character will be returning. They wanted to make Mr. Meeseeks return to "Rick and Morty" Season 3 without making him an irrelevant character.
The creators of "Rick and Morty" had also reportedly pooled new writers for the show. Harmon revealed in an interview with Den of Geek that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 brought gender balance among the writers.
"Rick and Morty" Season 3 has been having conflicting air dates. Some stay optimistic and predict the show to air in December 2016. Others then speculate that the series will return on March 2017. While Adult Swim has released no official word yet, "Rick and Morty" Season 3 was confirmed to air 14 episodes.
