"Pokemon Go" received an update a few days ago on iOS to version 1.17.0 and Android version 0.47.1. However, reports indicate that this is not the update most players were hoping for.
The "Pokemon Go" update that players were reportedly waiting was expected to include the 100 Gen. 2 Pokemon and the ability to raise Pokemon babies instead of Pokemon egg hatching. The said update, which also features Player vs. Player battles and trading is believed to happen next month. There are speculations that the much-awaited "Pokemon Go" update will be released in Dec. 7.
The recently released "Pokemon Go" update launched the game to eight new markets - Israel, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Jordan, Qatar, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates. This means that those residing in these countries can now go to the Google Play Store and install the "Pokemon Go" game.
Meantime, the update also comes with a fix for a bug that allows the Egg-hatching cutscene animation to appear on the map view, not to mention the minor text flaws that were also corrected. That being said, the number of "Pokemon Go" players are expected to increase in the coming weeks as new markets in the Middle East have been added, according to Phone Arena.
