Bethesda has a long history of big, immersive and often buggy open-world games. They were the first ones to fully incorporate the sandbox environment in a prominent RPG game and this separated “The Elder Scrolls” series from anything else on the market back in the days. Will their planned VR port for “Fallout 4” have the same effect?

There is a small team working on the full incorporation of the “Fallout 4” world in VR. That is not just some small demo like the “Fallout” experience, but the full-fledged game, transported into the space of virtual reality. According to Games Radar, fans of the series know that the game’s world is truly immense and the biggest one Bethesda has yet released. This makes the translation quite a heavy job, but it makes the experience much more rewarding. Even though Occulus Rift users had managed to make the game run with the goggles, an official HTC Vive release will surely have a higher level of quality and offer a more immersive gameplay.
If the news of “Fallout 4” coming to virtual reality excites you, then prepare for another hit. Gamer Rant has announced that “Doom” will also have an official release for the HTC Vive. The gun shooting blood splatter with become as great as it was in the old days of the first game’s release and hopefully just as groundbreaking. All that is left is to wait for the release of the two games’ VR versions and hope for the best.
