The midseason episodes of "Blindspot" Season 2 bring Kurt Weller and Jane/Remi back together. Showrunner Martin Gero teased they will rekindle their romance.
The second half of "Blindspot" Season 2 brings Jane Doe and Kurt Weller closer again. This is what series creator Martin Gero said in a recent interview, following the midseason finale.
Gero teased that Jeller (Jane and Weller) shippers will be happy. Talking about Jane and Kurt's relationship, the midseason episodes of "Blindspot" Season 2 will tackle their feelings for each other. Gero said that fans are in for a treat, since Jeller is back on.
Apparently, the showrunner and the writers of the show want Kurt Weller and Jane Doe/Remi to get back together again. This means Weller would have to say goodbye to Nas, just when viewers have started to think they could be a love team.
Martin Gero confirmed that the second half of "Blindspot" Season 2 shows Jane and Kurt over their past traumas. They are now able to move on and leave the past behind. In so doing, they both start to open their hearts again and to the possibility of a renewed romance. This moving on eventually brings them a lot closer to each other.
"The rest of the season] is a lot about them now fully over the past traumas that they've inflicted on each other and really realizing that they are the two people at the center of this who can understand each other like no one can," Gero told Yahoo, when asked for details about "Blindspot" Season 2.
Martin Gero's revelation is good news for fans of Kurt Weller and Jane, who wants to see them rekindle their romance. It is apparent in the past episodes of "Blindspot" Season 2 that they still have feelings for each other. All they had to do is bury the bitterness and the heartache so they can start anew. As what Gero said, this is exactly what Jane and Kurt will do when the show returns.
