Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson) kisses Luke Cage (Mike Colter) before he is taken into custody, making a promise to call a lawyer she knows that can help him. It seems that "Luke Cage" Season 2 will feature either Matt Murdock or Foggy Nelson.
This means that "Luke Cage" Season 2 is paving the way for the big crossover series "The Defenders". In "The Defenders", Mike Colter from "Luke Cage" will be joined by Daredevil, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones. Reports online show that Claire Temple from "Luke Cage" season 2 was seen on the shooting of the new Netflix series.
It's actually not a surprise that the "Luke Cage" Season 2 actress will appear on "The Defenders", she has after all appeared in the three shows that have aired, and she personally knows Matt Murdoch and Luke Cage. Although the new romance between Luke Cage and Claire Temple might be hindered by Jessica Jones in "The Defenders" but fans will just have to wait and see.
