Samsung is expected to surpass the users' expectations with Samsung Galaxy S8. Many are already talking about the 2017 flagship phone of the company. The Samsung Galaxy S7 is almost perfect when it comes to design and camera quality but Galaxy S8 will be better.

Galaxy S8 is expected to be available in two versions. One will have QHD 5.1-inch screen and the other one will have a bigger screen at 4K 5.5-inch display. The two versions will have slick designs as hinted by Lee Kyeong-tae, the vice president of Samsung Mobile.

Earlier reports reveal that Samsung is planning to eliminate its devices with flat screens in the future. The South Korean smartphone maker might make edge display as the identity of its Galaxy S products.

Features and Functionalities

Galaxy S8 will be powered by Snapdragon Qualcomm octa-core 3.2 GHz processor. It might feature a virtual assistant like Apple's Siri. There are also reports claiming that the 2017 flagship phone will have an optical fingerprint scanner. Others say that an iris scanner might be added. Having these features will surely raise the standard for smartphone devices.

Samsung is also planning to remove the physical home button of Galaxy S8. The home button will be embedded under the phone's screen instead. Apple is reportedly doing the same move for its iPhone 8.

Camera and Battery Life

Improving the camera quality is one of the top priorities of smartphone makers. Galaxy S8 will have a better lens at 18 and 24 megapixels for the front and rear camera. As for the battery life, Galaxy S8 will have 3,000 mAh power source.

Price and Release Date
